Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Brain Injury Research Center in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine offers a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Research. This program is funded in part by the National Institutes of Health (NIH); National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDLIRR); and by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Advanced Rehabilitation Research Training (ARRT) Fellowship
The Brain Injury Research Center in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine offers an ARRT fellowship program for post-doctoral professionals seeking an advanced and immersive research experience in rehabilitation medicine. This program is funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDLIRR). The ARRT fellow will join a highly successful team of researchers at the BIRC where they focus on many aspects of brain injury rehabilitation. Predoctoral Psychology Training Program
Our Clinical Predoctoral Internship Program provides predoctoral training in clinical psychology. The program is accredited by the American Psychological Association. The program is designed to expand trainees’ basic clinical psychology skills, and to provide focused training in rehabilitation psychology and clinical neuropsychology. Undergraduate Volunteer Program
Volunteers in this program assist with clinical research projects in a variety of ways, including confirming and scheduling appointments; data collection and entry; and compiling and submitting essential documents in accordance with institutional guidelines. Volunteers will have the opportunity each week to share their time conducting administrative/research-related tasks, shadowing clinical research coordinators, and attending learning-based events based on specific interests.
Volunteers will spend 8-10 hours per week at our center in New York City and must commit for at least two semesters. Applications open at the beginning of 2024 and close mid-March. For more information, please contact us at birc@mountsinai.org
