The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai proactively works to identify and support students who are experiencing difficulty in or out of the classroom. If the difficulty is impeding the academic achievement of our students, a system is in place to track students’ performance during medical school. The Office of Student Affairs monitors the data, and unless it’s necessary for educational purposes and coordination, the Student Affairs Office protects the students’ identity and status.
