Nexus Learning
Nexus Learning encompasses a diverse range of courses aligned with the mission and vision of the Icahn School of Medicine. Nexus courses are geared toward Year 1 and Year 2 medical students and reflect the broad range of interests and talents of our faculty throughout our health system.
Electives (Years 3 and 4)
Electives offered during the third and fourth years of medical school allow you to pursue your interests and explore career-enhancing or personally rewarding clinical, research, and other relevant experiences at Mount Sinai and around the world. Clinical electives can be found in the course catalog. Students can register for tailor-made clinical and/or research electives sponsored by a mentor by submitting the appropriate form. Visiting Medical Student Program
Icahn Mount Sinai welcomes visiting students from LCME-accredited schools and visiting students from schools abroad.
