The Mount Sinai Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is a comprehensive research facility and clinical program dedicated to the study of both normal aging and Alzheimer's disease. We are supported by the National Institute on Aging (P30-AG066514).
Our team of experts in geriatrics, geriatric psychiatry and psychology, neurology, pathology, and radiology diagnoses and provides crucial services for those with memory disorders. In addition, our clinicians and neuroscientists research the causes and treatment of dementia and sponsor educational programs for health care professionals and community groups. The ADRC also provides caregiver programs and support groups. All our services are available in both English and Spanish.
We make our clinical research programs available to those individuals with Alzheimer's disease, as well as to healthy seniors. Our research goals are not only to improve diagnosis, delay disease progression, and enhance well-being of those affected by Alzheimer's disease, but also to study the normal aging process.
