Why did you choose Mount Sinai for your fellowship training? I wanted to train at a clinically rigorous program at a quaternary care center with exposure to highly complex cardiac pathology while forming close relationships with leaders and pioneers across multiple subspecialties in cardiovascular medicine. I chose Mount Sinai over programs around the country because of its incredible breadth and depth of cardiovascular pathology and the abundance of clinical research opportunities. More than that, I was most impressed by how responsive the program leadership is to fellows' feedback. After graduation from Interventional Cardiology fellowship, I will be focused on a mixture of research and clinical focus in a large academic center. Why did you choose Mount Sinai for your fellowship training? I wanted to find a premier cardiology fellowship program that balanced clinical training with top-tier research opportunities. Overall, I was searching for the trifecta of mentorship, clinical training and the opportunity to develop as a leader in research. Interests and hobbies outside of the hospital: Exploring NYC and every type of restaurant scene, hanging out with friends, going to concerts/the beach/hiking/central park. Running and staying fit. New York City is the most amazing place to live, work, and play! |
