A comprehensive clinical, educational, and research program in human and medical genetics has been in existence at Icahn School of Medicine for more than 40 years. Our extraordinary growth over this time has allowed us to offer:

- Comprehensive genetic testing services available through biochemical, cytogenetic, and molecular laboratories
- Basic and clinical research supported by more than $37 Million in NIH grants (total costs), million in research grants and involving the efforts of more than 100 faculty and staff members
