Supportive Climate: Report Misconduct

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is committed to providing an optimal environment that ensures everyone’s success. Misconduct—whether by faculty, trainees, or staff aimed at faculty, trainees, or staff—can be traumatizing, detrimental to a person’s learning experience and overall health, and has no place in our community. Icahn Mount Sinai will take any and all action needed to prevent, correct, and discipline behavior that violates our highest standards.

Individuals who believe that they have been subjected to misconduct are encouraged to report these incidents. Upon receiving a report, the School will respond promptly, equitably, and thoroughly. The School will make every effort to provide assistance and support to all those who experience misconduct in a consistent, fair, and sensitive manner, while protecting those individuals from retribution.

Ways to Report Misconduct of Any Kind

The Icahn Mount Sinai Human Resources Office is available to any faculty or staff who has a complaint or concern regarding allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unprofessional behavior, or mistreatment of any kind, as well as those seeking advice or guidance regarding any employment matter. Trainees can also contact HR but are encouraged instead to use the Feedback Form
