Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program at The Mount Sinai Hospital

Ours is a 36-month training program in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine which includes 12 months of research. Opportunities for rotating through other sites within the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) and the Mount Sinai-National Jewish Respiratory Institute (MS-NJH RI) are also available. Didactics in core topics within pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine are supplemented by multiple educational conferences every day of the week.

The Icahn School of Medicine Program is participating in the ERAS application process and in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). The ideal candidate for our fellowship program is someone who has an interest in pursuing an academic pulmonary and critical medicine career path. We define academics broadly whether it be in a clinician educator track or physician scientist track. We also include in our definition of academics a career path in quality improvement and medical education.
