Our residents and faculty find many ways to apply their emergency medicine skills outside of the ED. International opportunities are available as part of our Global Health initiatives. Residents and faculty also provide medical assistance as part of Mount Sinai's community outreach programs. For example, our residents are present at the New York Mets home games, at area rugby games, and at the New York Marathon.

Several faculty members provide airway assistance to the New York Jets players at home games. Andy Jagoda, MD, accompanied the New York Philharmonic on its historic visit to North Korea.
